Since we know thatgratitude can change your life for the better, each year SARCC dedicates some time to practicing SARCCitude during the month of November. Study participants who practice gratitude have better mental health outcomes. SARCC staff, volunteers, community partners, and program participants who join the gratitude train have SARCCITUDE!

[SARCC-IT-tude] noun.

the positive state of being grateful, an overwhelming feeling of appreciation and thankfulness, and the desire to return kindness to others at SARCC.

In past years, we have shared SARCCitude for elements of SARCC services, our community partners in Law Enforcement, and for safe workplaces that prioritize prevention.

Since 1983, sexual assault prevention and support services have been available through SARCC. That’s 43 years of trauma-informed, survivor-centered community support. Sexual violence is a crime that thrives in silence. The answer that SARCC gave to that crime was building a community of connection, support, and celebration of healing processes. For this, we are grateful!

Do you have a story about how SARCC and sexual assault services have had an impact? Or would you like to share your story with others, so that they can build safe connections in their own healing processes? Share your thoughts with us at info@sarccheals.org.
