Under the direct supervision of the Director of Advocacy, the Sexual Assault Counselor/Advocate provides advocacy and support to child and adult victims of sexual violence and their families during the investigative process and through any crises resulting from a recent or past experience of victimization. The Counselor/Advocate will provide follow-up support to the survivor, to include referrals, individual and group counseling, and advocacy as needed.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Services, gender studies, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in individual, group and family counseling and/or working with people who have experienced sexual assault or related trauma or maltreatment preferred. All candidates will be required to submit Act 33 Child Abuse History Clearance and Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Clearance and FBI fingerprinting in accordance with Child Protective Services Law. Candidate must have access to a telephone and reliable transportation.

SARCC is a non-profit human service organization focused on the healing and prevention of sexual violence.
The Administrative Assistance will be responsible for coordinating and performing all clerical and receptionist duties for the SARCC Lebanon Office. The successful candidate will assist the President/CEO in organization, filing, and meeting preparation for staff and board meetings. The position will also be responsible for data entry for donor management systems and assist with fundraising activities and donor management and engagement.
The applicant should have experience with phone and computer systems; Access to a telephone and reliable transportation; ability to secure state and FBI Clearances; should be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and able to function independently. The position requires excellent organization and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks. Candidates will be required to complete a 40-hour sexual assault counselor training course during the first 3 months of employment, and will participate in an on-call rotation for monthly hotline support (3-6 days per month).
