The EITC program is a tremendous “win-win” opportunity for businesses to support the work of the Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center of Lebanon and Schuylkill Counties while also enjoying a tax credit of 75% to 90% on their state taxes.

Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the program awards tax credits to most businesses that make contributions to approved educational improvement organizations such as SARCC.

Businesses can apply for the tax credit program if they are subject to:

• Corporate Net Income Tax
• Bank & Trust Company Shares Tax
• Insurance Premiums Tax
• Capital Stock Franchise Tax
• Title Insurance Company Shares Tax
• Mutual Thrift Institutions Tax

Tax dollars are used to support SARCC educational outreach programs in the school setting that not only bring about awareness of sexual assault and bullying, but they also teach children creative ways of expressing themselves through the written and visual arts.

For businesses committing to two consecutive years of support, a 90 percent credit will be awarded. For businesses committing to one year of support, a 75 percent credit will be awarded.
We hope that you will complete an EITC Business Application and select the Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center of Lebanon and Schuylkill Counties as the recipient. If you need information on this great opportunity please email JShifflet@sarcclebanon.org
