We are pleased to announce the Tamaqua Police Deparetment is the recipient of a $150,000 DOJ BJA (@DOJBJA) Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative grant with support from the National Policing Institute (@PolicingInstitute), Local Initiatives Support Corporation (@LISC_HQ), and the Small and Rural Law Enforcement Executives Association (@SRLEAA). The Tamaqua Police will partner with the Sexual Assault Resource Counseling Center and the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership to reduce
sexual violence and hold perpetrtors accountable in the Tamaqua community. #tamaquapolice @sarccheals
