SARCC has been invited to participate in a Summit on Core Administrative Competencies of Victim Service Providers (VSP) at the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government in Philadelphia.

Earlier this year, public leaders and academics with national scope gathered to identify the core competencies needed to develop rising VSP leaders into successful, skilled administrators. The content generated by this first meeting provided the necessary building blocks to create the standards, structures, and training needed for aspiring administrators in the victim services field. SARCC will be part of a small group of exceptional VSP leaders to review and refine the initial conclusions and contribute toward the next steps.

For over 75 years, Penn’s Fels Institute of Government has educated students who are committed to making a difference in the world through public service. Fel’s students focus on learning how complex systems work and how to thrive in those systems.

SARCC is excited to partner with Penn’s Fels Institute of Government to expand their approach to the education of Victim Service Providers and to play a significant role in the process.
