State of Women in PA Event

State of the Woman in PA Event
This year, the Commission’s major initiative is the development of a new State of the Woman Report.
For nearly six decades, Pennsylvania has taken steps to understand and advance the status of women across the Commonwealth. The Governor’s Advisory Commission on Women is uniquely positioned to continue this work by connecting directly with women in every corner of the state and amplifying their voices to help shape policy and progress.
About the State of the Woman Report
The forthcoming report will combine historical analysis, current data, and firsthand perspectives from women in rural, suburban, and urban communities. Its goal is to present an honest and inclusive picture of women’s lives today.
To gather these perspectives, the Commission will host a listening tour across Pennsylvania between March and May 2026.
