SARCC provides a 40-hour state coalition approved sexual assault counselor/advocate training. It prepares volunteers to provide support on the hotline, at hospitals, or assist a staff member with groups. The training covers sexual violence, counseling skills, and working with systems.Trained volunteer counselors can provide support after hours from their homes through the phone.
