Join the Schuylkill Strong Series workshop to learn about the nuances of addiction and recovery, and ways that these topics intersect with other experiences and identities.
May 21 @ 11 am to 1 pm | 23 Meadowbrook Centre, Schuylkill Haven, PA
Dr. Jessica Saalfield is an associate professor of Psychology at Penn State Schuylkill, and also serves as the assistant coordinator of the Honors Program. Sexual violence and other forms of childhood trauma are common risk factors for later drug use, abuse, and addiction. Join us as we learn more about the intersections and realities of addiction and recovery.
Please register ahead of time to ensure a proper count for food and materials. This workshop is especially targeted for human service providers, school staff, and first responders. General community members are invited to attend.
